The world does not owe you anything
We strive for order and all we get is strife.
Does life have to be like this?
Why is life so unfair?
Will I ever make it? What is it that we call a success anyway?
I am pondering over these thoughts sitting on my dining table and looking at the pressure cooker that is about to wishtle.
We expect so much from life and live under the pressure of our own expectations.
And in this illusion of expectations, we miss what life really has to offer.
Our quest to live a better life is a canon shot on your territory.
Invaded by external circumstances, you fight the battle with them on your own land.
Your mind is the battleground.
∗ ∗ ∗
The ego mind induces a feeling of disconnection from yourself.
Not having a sense of belonging towards self we fall into the trap of finding a sense of belonging in the world.
Towards a town, community, in the heart of a person.
Someone somebody should understand me and accept me as I am is the quest arises from the the expedition.
We travel and join communities.
We fall in love every time like it is the first time and the last time.
We are interested in everything that is moving around, in the hope that it will catch your attention.
But it won’t.
The world is too busy hunting for attention, just like you.
∗ ∗ ∗
Like you, your fellow travellers are also looking for something.
It would be naive to assume that they are looking for you.
No one knows what they are looking for. And yet everybody is looking for something.
It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.
And the irony of madness is such that you can’t look the mad person in the face and say you are mad.
Every mad person believes that the world is mad, and he is sane.
Should I be counting myself in?
Maybe, maybe not.
It is delusional.
To find absolute answers in the illusions. To find reality in the stories we tell ourselves.
The mind plays tricks to find patterns in the abstract understanding we have about life.
But it is not enough and will never be enough.
The more you entertain yourself with the stories the more you go away from yourself.
You can check for the answer under every stone in the world.
How long will your pilgrimage last? A lifetime, hundreds of them.
Aeon.
∗ ∗ ∗
But the good news is you are always close.
No matter how long you have taken a ride in the train of thoughts, you are where you are.
Life is where you are.
The only thing required is to pause and look inward.
Not for the answers, not as a quest but to see yourself for what you are.
Be genuinely interested in yourself.
Be selfish. Be with yourself.
Hold the feeling you have for yourself with the contentment.
Yet detached from the expectations that there is something to gain out of this.
When you give up on the expectation to get approval from others, you approve of yourself.
Be interested in yourself, You will become your world.
Find yourself and you will no longer need anyone.
The need to search will diminish and the need to ask someone to be for you will diminish.
You will be present. For yourself and the world. Your world.

The greatest journeyman can ever take is the journey within.
It is as deep as the ocean and as vast as the universe.
Everything you were looking for outside is found within.
You get yourself and see this world as a reflection of yourself.
No one takes a reflection seriously.
It can be entertaining for a while, and might as well be meditative as well.
But it will only act as a device for you to bring back to yourself.
If you allow it. If you get out of your own way.
If you let go of the image you have created about yourself and stop projecting it to the world.
The relation people have with your image is false.
The connection they will have with real you, your core, will be genuine.
As it will be the assimilation of your being.
Your friends and lovers will sway to the same winds in the meadow as you do.
People you work with will sense your true self being surfaced and reciprocate.
Some will miss the point, and those are the some who you don’t want in your life anyway.
∗ ∗ ∗
Change is inevitable.
Your acceptance of it makes it painful or blissful.
Be ready to let go of the people who don’t understand the new you.
Disregard the space that no longer serves as an extension of your being.
Appreciate relations that appreciate your true self.
Your consciousness will expand beyond the boundaries of your body.
Spiritually, you will have left the bondage of the physical realm.
It can be challenging to live in a body without having a detachment to it.
A gateless gate and pathless path.
You will unlock the mysteries of our being, that are not that easy to be shared,
As they don’t speak to the belief and the words written in the text.
It is something you have discovered within, live with it and can’t share.
Your being can only inspire the journey within someone else.
∗ ∗ ∗
The disorder of your life will transcend to spontaneity.
The strife will be a bridge, to exchange.
Take what you need and give what you need.
That is the law that governs your being in the true sense.
Be the change you want to see in this world.
Be yourself, and the world will be itself.
No more botheration of faith, beliefs and systems. No more accountability to right and wrong.
You are as you are, be as you are. The world will find its way to accommodate and live around you.
It is high on the opium of opinions anyway.
When you shine in your own light. You share the light with others to ignite their own lights.
The quest to understand the mysteries of the being will burn in the light.
In fact, that is the fuel for your consciousness.
That is the whole purpose of life, to wander so much so that you are lost.
Exhausted and give up the search to find yourself where you are, as you are.
∗ ∗ ∗
The way you talk will change. The way you dress will change.
Shredding the skin of the conditioning; you are doing will be an extension of what you are.
Unique.
Like the world has never been seen before, and you are seeing the world for the first time every time.
Always fresh, newborn.
Innocent.
No conflict as the past has been left behind and you no longer have a grudge in the life.
No more dissatisfaction as there is no expectation from the future.
Only present is present. And you are living in the present.
The moment becomes present. Wrapped in surprise.
Awe.
No more chasing the tale of your own life of becoming someone.
Be comfortable with who you are. Interested in yourself?
The world will wonder and ponder on what makes you so interesting.
You will have nothing to ask from the world, only to give.
Your shine.
