Be here, right now

You will have what you want

We are supposed to be somewhere. It has always been like that.

It has become a human tendency to be somewhere in life, physically and mentally.

Anywhere but here.

We are so busy wandering to find peace and stability that we often forget that we are here, right now.

You will go to libraries to find the mysteries of the world and read the scripture to know the secrets of our being.

The temple bell rings the hollow promises for you, and you oblige to follow the sound; never hearing your voice, follow your own heart.

You take penance and visit monasteries for the realisation.

Only to find that the master points toward you.

When you finish the pilgrimage to the ifs and whats, you return to find yourself changed.

The motivation changes and the things that motivate you change.

Your journey to fulfil your passion has ended in vain.

Disappointment.

Only at the end of the journey, did you realise this was not what I wanted.

Is it something else? What is it anyway?

Do I want? If so, what is it that I want?

Why is it that you have everything and you still want something?

A sense of missing.

A longing for belonging somewhere.

An urge to be. Still. Present.

Comfortable with yourself and complimenting yourself.

A need for approval, gained from others.

A need to be seen.

A desperation to anchor somewhere in the chaos of life.

A need to quench tired mind.

Mind swinging from the thought of right and wrong, good and bad, joy and sorrow.

Confused, exhausted and unwilling to give up on the stupidity of its deeds.

Ego.

What will subside this urge to be peaceful?

Where will you find the peace if your cry for peace breaks the silence?

How will you be with yourself if you keep searching for yourself?

As the Sun does not search for a candle, what is the point in searching for yourself?

You only know what can comprehend. What about the aspects of you that no one, even you will ever understand?

Maturity comes with the acceptance that there are things that exist without labels.

Everything you can name on earth does exist and everything you can’t label exists too.

Some aspects of your being will always remain unknown to you.

As your consciousness is not confined to your body.

Your body is part of your consciousness.

So is your memory.

Your being does not stop at the gates of memory and your existence is not bound to the body and mind.

You are more than that, there is more to you.

The mind needs answers.

Mind needs analysis.

The mind needs calculations.

The mind requires absolute to survive.

You start living when you stop feeding on your mind with the thoughts and let the dynamic expression manifest itself.

∗ ∗ ∗

Be still.

No attempt is the last attempt.

Be aware and watchfully of your thoughts.

Be aware of who is thinking on what you are thinking.

Meditate.

Without a purpose, without a goal and an expectation of any outcome.

Just be.

Slowly and steadily you will start moving towards your unmoving centre.

The wheel in motion is still at the centre.

You will reach the centre when you give up on the tendency to run behind everything that is moving.

You will not pursue yourself as someone, but you will have found who you are.

Be yourself.

The world moves around you. You don’t have to move around the world.

Don’t be like the dog who chases its own tale.

Be here, right now.

∗ ∗ ∗

Boom!

Your body is just a medium to express your being.

The universe points towards itself and is reflected in the world you see.

When you shift your focus from outward to inward, you see the true source of what is reflected in your life.

You will no longer strive to survive on the fragments of the outcome, but connect yourself to the source itself.

You will no longer drink from the stagnant waters of a pond, you will become the abundant, vast ocean.

Unfathomable. Deeper than deep.

The question of who you are will have been answered.

The urge to be someone and become will seize.

As you will find contentment in who you are. No matter whether you understand it or not.

The want, the need, the becoming and the happening are just the waves on the ocean.

It is a courageous way of living life.

Right in the moment, right here, right now.

You will have no answer if someone asks you who you are and what you do.

As you will be doing absolutely nothing.

Things will be happening on their own.

Only the right time is present. This very moment is significant.

There is no past and there is no future.

You will attract what you need at the right moment and the right time.

You will discard what is not required.

∗ ∗ ∗

Everything that is in excess is dropped.

Your ambitions, your unreasonable desires and your borrowed aspiration to become someone.

Everything.

Only that will be left of you is you. The last gate to the heaven.

When you drop the “You”; it is.

Mere isness.

Spend everything you have with both your hands to find this isness.

You will discover that you are blessed beyond your fondest dream.

What you need is given to you even before you ask.

What you don’t need will find its way out of your life.

∗ ∗ ∗

You no longer have to be somewhere.

As you are where you are and you are happy about it.

You are happy in your own company.

You are happy that you are living life with eyes wide open and no longer merely sleepwalking through life.

Filled with contentment you are so much in bliss, that joy overflows from your eyes.

Carefree, free of worries, blissful.

In the absence of your thoughts, the mind is liberated.

You blossom, like the Lotus. Untouched, Unwavering.

By the storms in life and the breeze of monetary temporary giggles.

∗ ∗ ∗

Life and don’t try to live.

Face the life, don’t run away from it.

Disappear completely, and you will have found not only the world but the entire universe in your being.

Vast.

Without beginning and never ending.
