Birth of the Prophet edited by Dalton Hilu Einhorn is published. The book offers the untold creation story of the book ‘The Prophet’ in Khalil Gibran’s own words.

"The Prophet" is a timeless literary masterpiece written by the Lebanese-American poet, artist, and writer, Khalil Gibran. First published in 1923, this book has become a classic and is widely considered one of the most influential works of spiritual literature in the 20th century. Having said that, Khalil Gibran is the best selling poet after Shakespeare and Laotzi and the Prophet is a bestseller of the 20th century.

The Prophet bare a message for living with courage and looking at life through the lens of reality. It offers clarity for the personal growth, spiritual journey, and pursuit of wisdom. It is a book that I revisit more than any other book along with the book of Mirdad.

Birth of the Prophet is a treat that unfolds the process and stories noted by the author himself. The journey of writing a masterpiece that started when Gibran was sixteen years old. Its an insight to the writer's mind as he writes about his creation to the love of his life Mary.

My hope is that readers of this book will rush back and re-read The Prophet and fall in love with it in new ways,”  said Dalton, editor of the book.  “Seeing a conversation that is the inspiration for a chapter of The Prophet is thrilling.  It’s like having a front-row seat at the creation.  I’m so lucky to have had the opportunity to let Kahlil and Mary tell the origin story of the masterpiece.  It’s like reading a love lived.”
